We are adding a few pass-through holes in our Ford Transit. This is to route electrical wiring, plumbing, vents, and so on. Below is a list of all these holes; refer to FarOutRide #2 Build Journal for detailed write-up/how-to (links provided below).

Always perform rust-prevention whenever a hole is drilled or metal is trimmed in your van!
Then, add sharp edge protection.

We drilled this access hole with a 2.5in bi-metal hole saw, performed rust prevention, and at last we added a rubber grommet that we 3D printed (Get the 3D Print File, or Buy on Amazon).

Hello! We’re Isabelle and Antoine.

In 2017, we sold our house (and everything in it), quit our engineering careers, and moved into our self-built campervan. Every day is an opportunity for a new adventure... We’re chasing our dreams, and hopefully it inspires others to do the same!
