Hardware needed:
- M8-1.25 x 35mm Flanged Button Head Screw (Stainless).
- M8-1.25 Nyloc Nut (Stainless).
- M8-1.25 x 32mm Star Knob (Stainless).
Print:
- Filament: As usual for anything on the roof, we use ASA for its UV and high-temperature resistance.

As of writing this review, the description sets the expectation that this mount can be used “to install a Starlink Mini dish on Flatline Van Co Universal Decking Panels”.
That said, this is a great mount for decking panels of length 31.6″, but it is incompatible with the panels of length 16.6″ without modification, which is why I knocked one star off this review since the expectation wasn’t clear. I don’t fault FarOutRide though for this since testing all configurations is expensive and time consuming.
At the end of the day, I ended up adapting the 16.6″ length panel I have to make it work (drilled a custom mounting hole). I’ll likely adapt the model in future since I’d like the option to install the mount 90 degrees to its current design, which would lend itself better to my roof’s solar and fan layout obstacles.
All in all, great mount though!
