Countown to Full-Time Vanlife: 5 Days

August 10, 2017

The van conversion and house downsizing is going full speed ahead!

Hooks, shelves, MOARRRR shelves!!!

We added Velcro so it can be adjusted any height, depending on what we’re storing.

The water pump won’t be running in winter, so here’s is our water dispenser…

Because the ceiling gets quite warm in summer, our food will be stored a floor level.

Mooooaaar shelves!

“Suspended” shelves, closet rod, etc, etc

Stuff.

Moooooaaaarrrr hooks!

What’s New?

How to pack.

One does not simply pack a van… as stuff is added, more shelves & hooks & baskets & misc-wicked-storage-features are added to make room for everything. Test drive, realize everything is falling off, add features-so-things-wont-move, repeat.

THE RACE CONTINUES!

ABOUT US

Hello! We’re Isabelle and Antoine, a couple dreaming of being on the move and we’re seeking for the ride of our life. We bought a Ford Transit van, converted it to a campervan, sold our house and hit the road full-time to make our dream a reality. We are sharing this in hope of inspiring and helping others to follow their dreams too!

Finally! It already looks livable. You’ll be shedding things along the way. In reality, you’ll be needing a lot less than you think.
Wish you good luck and safe travels.

We can get rid of stuff along the way; we still have a lot to learn about living in a such small space for extended period!

      Thanks for the kind word!
      See you on the road!
