- This is not a turnkey “Ikea-style” project… You will need tools (clamps, etc.) and some woodworking skills. Please read our Upper Cabinet Guide to understand precisely what you’re getting into!
- Because we designed this cabinet to match the curved wall at the very front of the Ford Transit, the cabinet cannot installed somewhere else. The cabinet picks up existing holes in the van, to which M6 rivet nuts are added (some holes have to be enlarged to accept a M6 rivet nut).
- The cabinet has 30mm clearance with the van ceiling metal frame. That leaves 0.125″ clearance with the finished ceiling, considering:
- 1/8″ Minicel Thermal Break;
- 1/2″ Plywood Cross-Member Frame;
- 5/16″ Wood Planks.
- Need more clearance with the ceiling? You can adjust the holes in your CAD or CAM software.

- You’ll have to trim the foam blob partially.
- This is a .dxf file (2D) and .step file (3D) with the geometry only. You are responsible for creating your setup, tool paths, and generating the g-code for your machine.
- Tools required:
- 1/16″ Flat End Mill (small holes).
- 1/8″ Flat End Mill (most pockets and contours).
