This Flush-Mount Air Coupler installs in seconds (snap-fit) into the Ford Transit’s D-Pillar. Ours is paired to an Air Lift Onboard Compressor/Tank (faroutride.com/air-lift-install), but any compressor with 1/4″ DOT air line will work.

D-Pillar must be unfinished for the snap-fit to work (= metal = no fabric or such). - 1/4″ SAE J844 (DOT approved) Air Line (to compressor/tank).
- Accepts V-Style, M-Style, A-Style air plugs (to air hose).

How to Use
1. To connect an air hose, push the plug (V-Style, M-Style, or A-Style) into the fitting (one-hand operation!).
2. The white line around the outside ring indicates that the fitting is correctly inserted:
3. To disconnect the air hose, push on the outside ring and pull the plug out (one-hand operation!). WARNING: THE AIR HOSE WILL DEPRESSURIZE RAPIDLY (110-140PSI), HOLD IT FIRMLY! BURST NOISE FROM DEPRESSURIZATION IS NORMAL.
Installation
1. Route your 1/4″ air line from the compressor/tank into the D-Pillar. We routed ours through the grommet located under the floor (full system installation: faroutride.com/air-lift-install):
2. To ensure a leak-free connection, make sure to trim your 1/4″ air line clean and square. Push the air line into the fitting while applying a slight turning motion (read more about Push-to-Connect fittings):

We wanted a flush-mounted air coupler for the Ford Transit D-Pillar, so we made one.
This is an homemade product.
Each part is individually 3D printed and assembled by us. This is not a mass-produced product; it is a crafted, hand-made product.
Low Volume.
We created this product for our own needs, to make just a few units. We cannot ramp up the production and lower the price unless we take it to injection molding manufacturing, but that’s a whole other level we’re not considering at the moment.

Amazing, there is a little something very satisfying playing with it..so easy to disconnect the air hose. I never seen something like that before. I will add a power switch either on it or close by to allow me to manaullay start the air compressor.
