Answering questions and interacting with you on faroutride.com forces us to keep searching for the best and new products out there. And just like anybody else, we're haunted BY ze question: "what would we do differently if we had to start over?"

about us

Nice To Meet You.

Hello! We’re Isabelle and Antoine 🙂 In 2017 we sold our house (and everything in it), quit our engineering careers and moved into our self built campervan. We’ve been on the road since then and every day is an opportunity for a new adventure; we’re chasing our dreams and hopefully it inspires others to do the same!

  1. Isabelle and Antoine… I have commented before and have followed your suggestions. I like the bug net, great idea. Living in Denver and the surrounding mountains we have no bugs… taking it for granted bugs don’t exist. Ha! Question: Have looked closely at your modifications to the suspension in regard to the air bags. Have you also add a rear sway bar? Lastly, some of your videos have been filmed with a drone. Any drone in particular?

We have the diesel model of Transit 250 extended high roof. We are exploring different models of parking heaters. Haven’t decided yet.

    Thank You!

  2. Hi my name is Brian. I really liked the tire size info that you put out. I would like your thoughts on fitment of a 245/70R16 tire. I found that Cooper makes a nice tire in that size with a load rating of 118\115R. It is called the Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT245/70R16 118/115R. I think this may be another good option for people to use. I found these while researching things for my future Transit build.

Hope to hear back from you
    Thank you
    Brian Benson
