Affiliates
So you want to share FarOutRide links with others? That’s awesome! We really appreciate it. So much in fact that, in return, we’ll give you 8% commission if your referrals are buying anything from our store (faroutride.com/store). Here is how it works:
1- Create an account
- Click on "create an account" below to REGISTER.
- You can access your account at all time here: faroutride.com/my-account.
2- Setup your Payment
- To enable the payment of your commissions, enter your PayPal email address in the Profile tab (My Account > Affiliate > Profile).
- PayPal is the only option at the moment.
3- Share Links anywhere
Blog, vlog, discussion forums, Facebook groups, etc. You can link to any page on faroutride.com and still get a commission!
- Create links using the "Referral URL Generator" in your Profile tab (My Account > Affiliate > Profile).
- Or simply add "?ref=YOUR_ID" to any URL (replace YOUR_ID with your affiliate ID number, for example: https://faroutride.com/vanlife/?ref=3 ).
4- Use Images below as needed
- We prepared a bunch of cool images for you to share. You'll find them below (scroll down!).
5- Track your progress
- You can track your commissions and payouts in the Reports tab (My Account > Affiliate > Reports).
- Commission rate: 8%
- Cookie duration: 60 days (if a user clicks your link and purchase something within 60 days, you'll get a commission).
6- Cha-Ching
- Your commissions are paid on a monthly basis.

Hi it seems like the affiliate ?ref=1234 is not sticking at the end of the link and just dissapears when landing, is this normal?
That’s normal. I see that you registered a few clicks already, so it’s working! Maybe it was just you testing, but it still means it’s working 🙂
